We are so excited with all of the RSVPs coming in for our Valentine's Dance next Thursday, February 12th! Please take note of some very important details regarding the dance located in the attached flyer.
Here are some big takeaways-
*All students must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop off style event.
*This is family dance, not a date style dance.
*Admission is free, but we will be selling concessions and florals. Both are going to be CASH only!, so please bring CASH!

Join us for a fun -filled Celebrate Literacy Week, at SS Dixon Primary! Our students and staff are excited to take part in fun dress-up days all week to promote reading and a love of stories.
We hope to see all the red, white, blue, and YOU at our night time event, Reading Under the Stars/ Bingo for books on Thursday 1/29!

We are conducting a lockdown drill at school today as part of our regular emergency drill process as required by state law. On the week of October 27-31, SSDP is joining the nationwide Red Ribbon Week campaign to promote good choices by saying NO to drugs & YES to health + happiness! ! To make it fun and memorable, we’re having special dress-up days all week long!
Here's the lineup:

Tuesday, 10/28: Give Drugs the Boot! (Cowboy/ Cowgirl attire)

Tomorrow is Patriot Day. Students are asked to wear red, white and blue tomorrow as we remember and honor those who lost their lives on 9/11. We will host a group of first responders and have a moment of silence tomorrow morning at 8:46 am.

To start the day, we will have our Volunteer Orientation in the cafeteria at 08:30 a.m.. This meeting is for anyone interested in volunteering with us this school year.
Next, at 9:00 a.m., we will hold our first School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting of the 25-26 school year. Although only members of the council are able to vote, all parents/guardians are encouraged to attend our School Advisory meetings.
